
| This year the Hartford Women's Club is pleased to announce the following scholarship winners: CONTINUING EDUCATION - $750 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION Julie Martin won the 2009 GFWC Hartford Women's Club $750.00 continuing Education Scholarship. Julie graduated from HUHS in 2007 and is a Rubicon resident attending UW Madison A former member of 4-H and Hartford's FFA, Julie was first runner up in this year's Fairest of the Fair competition for Washington County. She also volunteers at the Schauer Center here in Hartford, Habitat for Humanity, Wisconsin Association of Volunteers, and Neighborhood House. Julie is pursuing a degree in Life Sciences Communications and Agricultural & Applied Economics with a double major. Julie is planning a career in marketing and communications with an agricultural emphasis. "BACK TO SCHOOL” - $750.00 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION Emily Buretta is the winner of the 2009 GFWC Hartford Women's Club Back to School Scholarship. Emily is a Hartford resident completing her nursing degree at Concordia University. She has been a member of the Hartford Fire and Rescue Department since May 2003. She has also been a member of the Wisconsin Donor Network since 2006. She is currently working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Children's Hospital in Milawukee. |
