This contest is unique to GFWC-WI and has been in existence since 1927 to honor this exceptional female artist from the Appleton area.
The annual art competition is to encourage and recognize artistic development and achievement among the state's 7th and 8th grade
students.

Students from Central Middle School, Erin, and St. Kilians
participated in the Helen Mears 7th & 8th grade art
contest.
The following students were honored for their entries in
the contest. Their artwork is being displayed at Scoop
deVille during the month of March.
- 1st Place: Morgan Maresh, Erin
- 2nd Place: Emily Currier, Erin
- 3rd Place: Dayle Duffek, Simarpreet Kaur, and
Breanna Williams, all from Central - Honorable Mention: Lizzy Krupski and Erin
